Last Summer I had the privilege of working with CamelBak to design some kids water bottles. I had no idea how fun it would be! I loved the process, but when it came down to the production part, that proved very difficult. Each bottle is only allowed up to four colors and white has to be one of them. Then each color needs to be separated onto its own layer. The bottles are actually printed with a rolling printer around the bottle. To make it appear that the bottle is printed all the way around, the colors need to be offset. You can see in this hedgehog example that there is only brown on the far right and only white and yellow on the left. Isn’t that cool! I just love learning new things each and every day! Which bottle is your favorite?
