2015 Tea Towel Calendar

I had so much fun creating this calendar! I hand drew all of the feathers and used my favorite brush pen to write the days of the week and months of the year. I just love the way it turned out! I’m asking for your help this week to vote for my design, as well as all of your favorites! In fact, my friends, Jill and Lauren, both also submitted beautiful designs into the 2015 tea towel calendar competition on Spoonflower. You can vote for your favorites here.

If you want to purchase the calendar, and finish the edges yourself, you can do so in my Spoonflower shop for about $14. But I will soon be listing the calendar in my Etsy shop with finished edges for $25, if you’d like to purchase it that way. I will have them for pre-order first, so that I know how many to order. I’d love to hear your thoughts! Happy Halloween!

Journals now for sale in my Etsy Shop

I’m so excited to announce that my Journals are now available for purchase in my Etsy shop! I’ve had the amazing company ecojot help me out by manufacturing them and I think they’ve turned out great. 100% recycled materials and 100% fun! Each journal measures 5x7inches and has 80 lined sheets. They are just small enough to throw in your purse and take with you wherever you go. And with four different designs to choose from there’s at least one you’ll like, or maybe more! Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Day 8: Free Printable Christmas Wrapping Paper

Today’s freebie is a good one! A printable wrapping paper!

WRAPPING PAPER FOR CHRISTMAS, OR ANY OCCASION (the RED FLORAL IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN THE SECOND DOWNLOAD BUTTON)

Remember these are for personal use only and not for resale! Thanks!

But the best part is that I added 5 coordinating wrapping papers to my Etsy shop for only $5 so that you could print them all out and have the cutest presents under the tree! I mean, seriously aren’t those woodland animals just adorable! I might even consider putting them on Spoonflower so that I can order actual rolls of wrapping paper. I haven’t ordered any wrapping paper from Spoonflower, have any of you? Is the quality good? It’s kind of expensive don’t ya think?

Or maybe I might just order it in fabric and make Char a dress? What do you think? Wrapping paper or Fabric?

Well, enjoy, I’d love to see the gifts that you wrap with it!

ChirpChirp {5 new patterns}

Hello Friends!
I hope you are having a good weekend. I know I am. I wanted to share with you my new paper patterns I designed for personal use. Most of the designs came to me in the wee hours of the morning when I got up to use the restroom. Seriously, the images just popped up in my head and I immediately found some paper and drew them, then attempted to go back to sleep. {which never happens because I’m a horrible insomniac}. I’ve been trying out the watercolors lately and decided to incorporate the watercolor textures into some of my patterns.

But other than not getting much sleep lately, I’ve had a terrific time crafting and using my new papers for Springtime fun! You can now purchase my new chirpchirp paper line on etsy . For only $10, you have unlimited personal use of these papers. Make pennants, cards, placeholders, name cards, party favors, notebooks or even gift tags out of these spring florals. Here are some fun ideas!

Cut out triangle shapes and glue them to string to make a pennant, then just add scrapbooking alphabet letters to make words. I also made tissue paper flowers using this tutorial. Cut out tiny tissue flowers and tape to branches.

Cut out paper and using a simple stitch sew the pages together, or just use staples. Cut out simple tags and use them on vases or for gifts.

new photos of babies first year

I finally got some pictures of my baby book, thanks to my amazing friend. I had been meaning to take some decent photos of the book, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. Thank you so much Sharon!!! She is having a baby very soon and wanted a place to record her thoughts and accomplishments of baby Liam. This book is the place to do it! This book includes sections like: babies firsts, how we met, pop culture & events, babies family tree and so much more.

If you’d like to purchase one of these original books, just head on over here . The price is just $35 and you get to choose your own cover.
